Securing land rights

Recent international trends suggest that there is direct link between secure systems of tradable security of land tenure (private property rights) and economic development. Examples from Rwanda and former Soviet nations have demonstrated that secure tradable land tenure has, amongst other things, equated to long term job creation, industrialization and sustainable poverty alleviation. Optimal Land administration systems must be accessible to all citizens, simple, efficient, fair, transparent and accountable.
